This weekend we tailgated for the first time as a family. We tailgated in front of the Upchurch building on Mell Street. Griffin and Elizabeth had a great time. Elizabeth threw the football. Elizabeth then went to the LSU game with me. She made up a cheer for LSU: L is for loser, S is for stinks and U is for ugly uniforms. Gotta love her. She is a hoot. We cheered my Auburn Tigers on to a great victory then walked to Toomers to celebrate.
So, Auburn is currently #1 in the BCS for the first time ever. I personally don't like it since the previous 3 #1 teams have lost. BUT, if we can win out this would almost guarantee us finally getting our chance to play for the National Championship. It would be pretty cool since Griffin was born the day before Alabama won last year (which is David's team). And he would turn 1 year old around the time Auburn would win one. But I get ahead of myself. Let's just win on Saturday vs. Ole Miss.
WAR CAM EAGLE. Cam went to Blinn College last year and my mom went to school there many moons ago. Glad he decided to come to Auburn.
I have the same feel for this Auburn team as I did for the 2004 undefeated team. Let's hope this team repeats in the number of wins.
