Thanksgiving/Anniversary

This year our wedding anniversary falls on Thanksgiving. David and I have been married for 4 years now. Each of those years have been great and I am very thankful for my husband, the girls, and now our son. Every other year we get the girls for Thanksgiving and this year was one of those years we get them. So, Thanksgiving was extra special since we had all three of the children. Caroline and David tossed the football outside most of the day. Elizabeth and I joined in for a little bit. Griffin played with all of the family. He continues to LOVE music and dances ALL the time. He just might be our musician, but definitely a rock star. He "head bangs" while he dances! The photos are of each kid. Caroline is 10 years old, Elizabeth is 8 and Griffin is 10 months old.

Griffin is Almost Walking

Griffin is now 10 months old. For a few weeks now he has been "walking" behind his push train. We figure he will let go and walk on his own before he reaches 11 months. It is hard to believe he is already at an age that he could be walking. It feels like he has always been in our lives yet he is only 10 months old. Crazy.

The girls love to play with their brother and Griffin loves playing with them.
We all tailgated for the Auburn vs. Georgia game. All the kids like to tailgate.

Tailgating includes throwing the football and rolling down hills.

Next up are Griffin's first Thanksgiving (our 4th wedding anniversary), Christmas and then birthday. Busy times.

Halloween

I am not big on repetition. Every summer our vacation is to at least one new state and never somewhere we have been before. I try to take the girls (and eventually Griffin) to a different cultural event (mostly musicals) every year. But one tradition is to go to a pumpkin patch some time in October. And continuing with the theme of not repeating locations I try to find a new pumpkin patch every year. With Griffin being so young we found one very close to Auburn this year. It was not the largest (or best) we have gone to but the girls said they had fun. I think they just liked being with their brother. I am sad to say that next year we may have to repeat since
1. Griffin hasn't been to any of them and 2. I am running out of new patches that aren't too far away. I may try to find new ones for a few more years until the girls are too old to really enjoy them (but we are in no hurry for that to occur).
Anyway, this is a picture of the kids at the pumpkin patch.
The second picture is Griffin in his cow costume and me in my witch outfit. The final picture is Griffin with his first Halloween card.
